The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu for the atrocities against humanity and Palestine. Humanity and Climate has lost adversely from the wars and machinery orchestrated by Netanyahu yet the EU
International law is dying before our eyes, even through our complicit silence. Struck down by actions like Donald Trump’s sanctions on the International Criminal Court, its ability to bring justice to victims worldwide is seriously compromised.
The ongoing genocide in Gaza, the disregard for the International Court of Justice, and the European Union’s complicity in trade with illegal Israeli settlements are all signs that justice is being undermined. Yet, it is not just international law that is dying. Our sense of dignity and morality is at stake.
Take the case of Al Masri, a war criminal whose hands are stained with blood and torture in Libya’s detention camps. Despite an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court, he was released by the Italian authorities and flown back to Libya on a state flight. There, he will continue his reign of terror, claiming new victims. This shame is shared by all of us, especially as we continue to fund agreements—like the one between Italy and Libya—that trap innocent people in a cycle of suffering.
We cannot continue to ignore these realities, for history will not forgive us. It is time to stand up for justice, for dignity, and for the victims who have been forgotten.
The Antifascist International Kenya Chapter, we demand action from The EU to effect the arrest of Netanyahu immediately.

The erosion of international law through selective enforcement and political interference is deeply concerning. The ICC's warrants, whether for Netanyahu or others accused of atrocities, must be respected to uphold justice and accountability. Complicity, like the EU’s continued trade with illegal settlements or Italy’s release of a known war criminal, undermines global human rights standards. Without consistent enforcement, international law loses its meaning, and impunity prevails. The call from the Antifascist International Kenya Chapter is a vital reminder that justice must be universal, not selective.
