Theme: “Honoring Our Past, Embracing Our Future”
Date: May 10th 2025

Africa is home to diverse cultures, traditions, and a rich natural heritage. However, globalization, modernization, and environmental challenges threaten the preservation of this heritage. Africa and Latin America share deep historical, cultural, and socio-political ties, shaped by colonial histories, migration, and resistance movements. Venezuela, with its significant African-descendant population, has a rich cultural heritage influenced by African traditions, particularly in music, dance, and spirituality. This event will celebrate African heritage while recognizing the bonds between Africa and Venezuela, promoting cross-cultural learning, solidarity, and advocacy for cultural and environmental justice.

- Cultural Showcase: Traditional dances, fashion show, live music performances.
- Story telling: Experts discuss cultural preservation, history, and nature conservation.
- Environmental Action: Tree planting and conservation discussions.
